I’m a marketer who understands tech. Marketing a complex technical product to sceptical buyer groups isn’t easy. It’s a very different job to selling B2C products or any high volume/low value offering. The sort of people you hire, the way you allot budgets and the strategies you take are the difference between hitting your annual targets and missing them.

I believe in sound strategy, teamwork and medium-term goals. by sticking to these principles I’ve been part of executive teams that have hit targets and rebuilt cultures. I’ve been a Java developer, product manager and a CMO, so I know what it takes to sell to a technical audience.

I’ve been writing blog posts, articles and longer whitepapers on B2B marketing for many years. This website is primarily a place for me to put all of those articles and pull them together from different sources.
